An announcement last week, coming as a surprise to their many friends, announced the marriage of Miss Ethel Ballard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.M.J. Ballard of Lincolnton R-3, and Mr. Kilburn Goodson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Goodson of Lincolnton R-3. The ceremony was performed on May 17th by Rev. J.A. Snow, pastor of Lincolnton Baptist church.
