James Carter Bound Over for Attempted Criminal Assault of 9-Year-Old, June 17, 1924

Bound Over to Court on Serious Charge

James Carter, Negro, was bound over to court today by Major Silas Lucas on a charge of attempted criminal assault on a 9-year-old negress. the negro was placed under arrest while in the act of assaulting the girl and placed in jail. He was bound over to Superior Court without bond.
