J.T. Hooks, 68, Died June 13, 1924

Mr. J.T. Hooks of Fremont Dies

Mr. J.T. Hooks, age 68 of Fremont, died at a late hour last night as a result of illness covering a period of several weeks.

Mr. Hooks was State Senator from this district in 1913 for a period of one term. He had been President of the Bank of Fremont since its organization, and was also President of the Fremont Oil Co. and had large farming interests.

He had never married. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Delia Dees and Mac Copeland, both of Fremont. He was the son of the late Wiliam Hooks, who was also a very prosperous and well known citizen of Fremont at the time of his death.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
