A number of interesting changes are taking place among various Durham business concerns, especially so in regard to location. The past several weeks have seen the removal of many established business houses to new quarters.
Another filling station is to be added to the city’s list of establishments of that nature, this by Harris brothers at Duke and West Main street, the site of the old Conservatory of Music building.
Among the most recent changes in location are the following:
Durham Ice Cream company from old location on West Main street to new building at Duke and West Main.
Star Bakery from Roney street to new building at Duke and Morgan street.
W.C. Lyon hardware from Foster and East Chapel Hill streets to building on East Chapel Hill formerly occupied by Durham Motor Car company.
Carolina Sales company from West Main street to McCracker building on East Chapel Hill formerly occupied by Alexander Motor company.
