Child of Former County Man Dies in Greensboro

The following, taken from a recent issue of the Greensboro Daily News, will be of interest locally. Mr. Swift, a prominent Greensboro attorney, was reared in Watauga, and he and family have the sympathy of Wataugans generally in their bereavement:

“The funeral of Stacie Alma Swift, 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Swift of Pomona, who died at 5:30 o’clock at the Swift home, 111 Causey Street, Friday morning, was held at the home Friday afternoon at 5 o’clock. Interment was made in the Pomona cemetery.

She is survived by her father and mother, two brothers, Floyd and Jas., and one sister, Lonarean.
