Three accidents have occurred during the past week at the intersection of Morehead and Vickers avenue, one of which proved to be very serious. Saturday night about 11:30 two automobiles ran together in a head-on collision at this intersection. Nobody was hurt but both cars are said to have been damaged.
Earlier in the week several people were injured in an automobile accident on this intersection, several of whom are still in the hospital.
According to a resident of the Morehead avenue section, many people driving automobiles at this point where the accidents have occurred do not use the necessary amount of precaution. He declared that the frequency of accidents there is beginning to cause the residents worry and uneasiness. The intersection is a dangerous one and it is considered likely that the city council may be asked to take some precautionary measures whereby the accidents may be reduced.
