By J.H. Blackwell, County Agent
There will be a state-wide meeting of farmers and their wives at the State College, Raleigh, beginning July 23rd and lasting through the 26th.
This is a very important meeting and a fine opportunity for the farmers and their wives to gain a lot of valuable information relative to their many problems.
Every farmer that possibly can should attend this meeting. It would be a nice vacation for many, and I am sure would be beneficial to all.
some of the speakers of note that will address the meeting will be Dr. B.W. Kilgore and Dr. E.C. Brooks of Raleigh, Senator E.D. Smith of South Carolina; and Miss Susie Powell, State Home Agent for Mississippi.
Those who want to go and stay more than one day can get rooms at the college and meals at the dining hall for 25 cents per meal.
Those of you that are going for the entire time should write to Mr. J.M. Gray to reserve rooms for you and also a seat at the table.
