Much interest is being shown by the farmers of Harnett in the State Farmers’ Convention in Raleigh from the 23rd to the 26th of this month. The following have expressed their intention to attend: W.L. Senter, M.M. McKay, H.A. Turlington, W.H. Turlington, L.L. Turlington, E.W. Smith, W.J. McStewart, J.B. Ennis, Dolphus ?ands and M.B. Wade.
Our farmers are taking advantage of any opportunity to gain new ideas and obtain the useful information that can be had by attending such a convention.
Miss Elizabeth Bridge and Mrs. J.H. Dixon, with a number of other ladies from Harnett will attend on Thursday, the 24th. Quite an interesting program is arranged for that day. The afternoon session will be very interesting to the women.
