American Legion Officers

Officers of the Chapel Hill Post of the American Legion for the next year will be Charles E. Gooch, commander; George Denny, first vice-commander; George Featherstone, second vice-commander; W.B. Neal, adjutant; Dr. D.T. Carr, finance officer; George Lawrence, service officer; and Rev. A.S. Lawrence, chaplain.

At the meeting Friday night Commander Carl Durham reported that the post had been instrumental in getting two disabled ex-service men placed in the government hospital in Johnson City within the last two months.
