Mecklenburg Girl Missing from Home. . . Father Fears She Has Been Abducted by Member of Household

Davidson, Dec. 8—William Calloway, residing near Davidson, in this county, reports the absence from home of his daughter, Lena, said to be between 13 and 14 years of age, who he fears has been accompanied or been abducted by Hoover Fisher, who has recently been an inmate of the Calloway home.

The couple left the home of the girl November 20. Calloway says he has traced Fisher, who is said to be a married man with a wife and child at McAdensville, as far as Greers, S.C. Calloway has offered a reward for the recovery of his daughter or the arrest of Fisher.

Fisher is about 36 years old. He has a scar under his right jaw. He is about five and a half feet in height and weighs about 150 pounds. The girl has light hair and blue eyes. The little finger of her right hand is noticeably crooked.
