Creedmoor, Dec. 6—Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Mangum and daughter, Miss Mildren, of Greenville, were the guests of relatives in Southern Granville during Thanksgiving.

Little improvement is noted in the condition of A.O. Curl, who has been confined to his room for several days of illness. His many friends wish him a speedy recovery.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Clauddie M. Chapell Thanksgiving morning, a fine 10 ½ pound boy. Both mother and child are getting along nicely.

J.L. and Bernice Peed of Route 3 were business visitors in Creedmoor Monday morning.

Ralph Currin of Northside Route 1 was a business visitor in Creedmoor Saturday afternoon.

O.C. Jenkins of Wilton was a shopping visitor in Creedmoor Wednesday afternoon.

Carmel Mangum of Raleigh spent Thanksgiving in Creedmoor, the guest of his brother, G.D. Mangum.

Dr. J.A. Morris of Wilton, health office for Granville county, was a business visitor in Creedmoor Friday morning.
