Sallie Andrews, F.G. Gamble Wed at Temple Baptist Parsonage, Dec. 6,1924

Gamble-Andrews Wedding Solemnized on Saturday

A wedding very pretty in its simplicity was solemnized on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Temple Baptist parsonage when Miss Sallie Andrews was married to F.G. Gamble. Rev. Trela D. Collins was the officiating clergyman and the ceremony was witnessed by only a few friends and relatives.

The bride was very lovely wearing a handsome ensemble costume of dark blue material trimmed with grey squirrel with silver accessories to match. She carried a beautiful bouquet of bride’s roses and valley lilies.

Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Gamble left for an extended wedding trip to northern cities.

Mrs. Gamble is the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Andrews of Timberlake, N.C., but for some time has been residing in this city. She has a host of friends, both here and in her home town who will be interested to learn of her wedding.

Mr. Gamble is formerly from Charlotte, N.C., but for the past three years has been a resident of this city, being employed with the Durham Public Service Company.

Mr. and Mrs. Gamble will reside in this city when they return from their honeymoon.
