Statesville, Feb. 12—The little girl, Esther Wooten, 3 years old, of near Harmony, who was brought to the Davis hospital several days ago, suffering from a pitchfork having penetrated her skull, has fully recovered and was dismissed from the hospital. Her quick recovery from a wound which paralyzed her side is regarded as most remarkable.
A pitchfork which fell from the lift at the home near Harmoney penetrated her skull about three inches. Her condition was regarded as so serious at the time that her recovery was though to be most improbable.
