Funeral services of Mrs. Martha E. Goley, aged 76 years, who died at her home in Worthville, were conducted from Bethany M.P. church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30.
Mrs. Goley before marriage was Miss Martha Moffitt. She was a woman very much loved and will be sadly missed. She joined Shiloah church in early girlhood and later moved her membership to Worthville M.P. church.
The good lives of Mr. and Mrs. Goley are being exemplified in the family of good children they have raised. She leaves two sons and two daughters and 17 grandchildren as well as a host of friends to mourn her departure. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.F. Ashburn and A.O. Lindley. Interment was in the church cemetery.
The pall bearers were: J.T. Brown, Parris Foust, C.E. Julian, Fred Allred, Arthur Free and Robert Hilliard.
The flower bearers were: Mesdames Clarence Cross, J.T. Brown, and C.E. Jullian; Misses Sudie Davis, Virginia Goley, Onna Richardson, Blanche Leonard, Monnie Pugh.
