Someone Leaves Baby Girl on C.S. Richardson's Doorstep, June 9, 1925

Another Baby Abandoned at Winston-Salem

Winston-Salem, June 8—A baby girl, about one week old, was left on the door step at the home of C.S. Richardson last night at a late hour by unidentified parties. Mr. Richardson was awakened by the sound of an automobile being hurriedly cranked in front of his home and upon going to the door he found the baby wrapped in a bundle of blankets on the door step.

When Mr. Richardson opened the front door the car was just going out of sight, and he could not identify it. The little girl was wearing a thin gown, and wrapped in two blankets. Al home will be found for the little one.
