Chief Machinist Mate John Perry Ingram, United States Navy, is home on leave from the naval station at Key West. Mr. Ingram is the son of Sheriff and Mrs. Ingram. Those who believe that the army, navy and Marine Corps are filled with the lowest order of humanity should see Mr. Ingram and have a conversation with him. Taken man for man, the standard of manhood in the service is far superior to that found in civil life.
