R.P. Benson this morning received a message stating that his nephew, John Benson, died Monday night about midnight from injuries received about two hours earlier in an automobile accident near his Wilmington home. No particulars of the accident were contained in the message.
The deceased was about 20 years of age and was a son of John C. Benson, who has been living in Wilmington for several years. A brother of the deceased was drowned at Fort Caswell several years ago.
