Winecoff High School Class of '25 Gathering, Aug. 15, 1925

Graduating Class at Winecoff Has Social Gathering

On Friday evening at 8 o’clock the class of ’25 of Winecoff high school assembled at the home of its prophetess, Miss Ruth Phillips, in response to her call. Only three were absent.

At this time each enthusiastically entered the penny contest but only Miss Gladys Goodman succeeded in answering the whole questionnaire correctly, for which she was awarded a memo. Even a prize was given to the one with the least numbers and this went to Fred Litaker. The class also enjoyed a number of other interesting contests and games, and throughout the whole evening session various musical selections were rendered.

At the close of the evening Miss Phillips served a delicious ice course to her guests.

Those present were: Misses Edith Fink, Gladys Goodman, Ruth Phillips and Clarence Stewart, Frank Litaker and Frank Litaker, class members, with their principal, C.A. Furr, and other invited guests Misses Helen Phillips, Roxie Fink, and Joe and Clarence Phillips, of Charlotte.
