Cherokee Indian Fair

Cherokee, N.C., Sept. 21 (AP)—The Cherokee Indian Fair, which draws people from hundreds of miles to see the exhibits of the Cherokee Indians on the reservation here, will be held here October 6, 7, 8, and 9th.

The aim and purpose of the Indian Fair is described as an effort to stimulate and encourage among the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians a keener interest in farming and to promote a greater desire for better homes and better living.”
