The master pumpkin, so far seen on any of the farms of Horry County, has been produced by Louis Sarvis on the upper mill plantation of Hal L. Buck, down in Bucks Township.
This monster fruit measures several feet in diameter, and much more in circumference. These measurements not having been taken, as they were not necessary in order to see that it is the largest of its kind ever kept on display here.
It weighed 85 pounds net.
