Master Clyde Hicks, 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hicks of Cleveland township, picked 300 pounds of cotton last Thursday. Minnie Hicks, daughter of Mr. Hicks, picked 118 pounds when she was 6 years old. Last Thursday she was 9 years old and celebrated the occasion by picking 271 pounds.
If there is anyone who can beat this record, let us hear from you.
