Pink L. Christy, aged 49 years, died at his home in No. 4 Township Tuesday evening at 6 o’clock, after an illness of five weeks. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home, burial being made in Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Christy was born in Iredell county and moved to Concord where he resided for several years, moving to No. 4 township about 10 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving him are a wife and 10 children. He is also survived by three sisters and one brother.
