The Anchor Store started in business in Winston-Salem in the Fall of 1916, occupying a small store on upper Fourth Street. Since that time the growth of this store has been phenomenal and at the present time they have a large up-to-date store at the head of Trade on Fourth Street with two stories and a basement.
The Anchor Store carries a full and complete line of clothing and furnishings for men and boys; Dress goods and notions; Ladies ready-to-wear of all kinds and millinery. The Bargain Basement is one of the busy spots of Winston-Salem. Here may be found bargains of all kind sin most every line of merchandise.
Attention to some of the Basement specials is called to in their ad appearing in this issue.
