Gastonia, Nov. 6—Lonnie Kimball, 23, negro of the High Shoals section, is held in the county jail here today, charged with criminal assault upon a negro girl of the same community. The negro was bound to Superior Court by Squire Gaither Fry without bond. The crime is alleged to have taken place near the home of the girl.
