Maggie Coley, a colored woman living at Wilson’s Mills, had the misfortune to lose or have stolen from her $76 in cash during the negro fair held here last week. The woman ran an eating place at the fair, and Thursday afternoon took her pocket book and drove up town in her car for more supplies. When she got back to her stand, she missed the money. Whether the money was stolen or whether it was lost is uncertain.
