Taylorsville, N.C., Nov. 14 (AP)—A community club was organized at a mass meeting of farmers held at the Virginia school house in Alexander county this week.
County Agent D.N. Osborne made a short talk on the value of such a club to a community, after which officers were elected, a program committee appointed, and programs planned. Mr. Osborne reports that each citizen seemed willing to take a part in the work of the club and promised to do what he could to make the movement a power in the community.
