Greensboro, Dec. 14 (AP)—Trial of the case charging violation of the natural banking laws by J.D. Norwood, former chairman of the board of directors of the defunct Peoples National Bank of Salisbury, began at 2 o’clock this afternoon in the United States District Court of Western Carolina with Judge H.H. Watkins presiding.
