Albert Lee Ritchie, 34, died suddenly Thursday afternoon at 5 o’clock at his home in this county. He had been in his usual health during the day, it is reported, death following a sudden heart attack.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o’clock at St. Johns Lutheran Church and interment made in the cemetery of the church. The services were conducted by Rev L.D. Miller.
Mr. Ritchie was a son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Ritchie of No. 6 township and was born and reared in this county. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his parents and the following brothers: Prof. R.M. Ritchie of Dinwiddie, Va.; Wade and Ira Ritchie of Rock Hill, S.C., and Howard Ritchie of High Point.
