Raymond Glenn, who has been at the county jail since last Friday awaiting the outcome of the condition of John Nance, whom he shot on the Main street last Friday morning about 8:30, gave bond last Wednesday and left immediately for his former home in Hendersonville.
Upon recommendation of Solicitor Grover C. Davis the bond was named a at $3,000, which was made at local citizens.
Reports from the Bryson City Hospital are to the effect that Mr. Nance is improving from the wounds he received in the lung.
