Shelby, Sept. 28—One fellow threw at a cat here today at the county fair, failed to get his cigar, but wound up in the hospital with his right arm broken in two places.
Buford Owens, farm youth of 20 years, was tossing baseballs at the fair cats with the idea of at least winning a cigar. His foot slipped in the midst of a throw and his arm snapped in two places above the elbow.
