Willie Green, negro, one of the deacons in the “house of prayer,” was drowned in Clinton park bathing pool of Charlotte Sunday at baptismal services of “Bishop” C. M. Grace, Portuguese “faith healer,” as 10,000 people looked on. Between 500 and 600 people were baptized, among them three white women.
