Captain Thos.
Gillikin Passes Away
Captain Thos. Gillikin of Marshallburg, a well-known citizen
of Carteret County, died at his home there Tuesday morning. Captain Gillikin
had been in declining health for some months and his end although greatly
regretted was not unexpected. He was about 63 years of age. His widow and
several sons and daughters survive him.
