115th Field Artillery of 30th Division Approaching Charleston, March 26, 1919

30th Reach Charleston Shortly After Noon

Charleston, S.C., March 26—According to official advices received the U.S. Transport Konigen der Nederlanden with the vanguard of the Thirtieth Division, including the famous 115th Field Artillery, will reach here shortly after noon Thursday. This probably means that troops will remain on board until early Friday morning because of the desire to get the men to Camp Jackson in the daytime.
Naval radio headquarters here announce that they will be in constant touch with transports by wireless.
