186 U.S. Medical Officers Died in France, 212 Wounded

Casualties Among Medical Men in Army. . . 46 Killed and 212 Wounded

Washington, March 26—The casualties among the American Medical officers in France from the time of America’s entrance into the war until March 13th number 442, according to a statement from the war department which shows that 46 were killed in action, 22 died of wounds, 12 died of accident and other causes and 101 died of disease, 5 were lost at sea, 7 were missing in action, 38 were taken prisoners, and 212 were wounded in action.
