Small Pox Near
Davidson River
Mr. John Lyday, whose home is in the upper Penrose section,
has recently developed a light case of small pox. It is thought that owing to
the unusual warm weather of the year and that Mr. Lyday’s family have been
vaccinated, the disease will not become an epidemic, however, all due
precautions should be taken and no one expose themselves unnecessarily.
