Flu Causes Much
Trouble
The banks have suffered considerably during the flu
epidemic. The cashier at the Home Banking Company and the cashier at the Bank
of Commerce were both out with the flu, as well as other help. In fact all
lines of business have suffered and help is short. It would have been a pretty
good idea to have offered jobs to the school teachers while they are out of
school. Also the Boy Scouts could perform good service in the cause.
