By the Associated Press, High Point, N.C., Dec. 1—The climax to the current series of burglaries which has resulted in local merchants sleeping in their stores to guard their property has been capped—police funds have been stolen from the police headquarters while the night force was out looking for burglars. On Monday night a police locker was entered and about $75 removed. No clue is known as to the guilty persons.
