C.W. Myers and George F. Alfred, builders of the first Greensboro-made plane, announced yesterday that beginning today they will carry passengers every day from their field on the Winston-Salem road just beyond Guilford College.
The machine was completed several weeks ago and has made numerous flights but has not been used to carry passengers to any great extent because of the face that the builders wished to thoroughly test it before taking passengers into the air. It has met every test in great fashion and is now declared to be ready for any test that can be imposed on a ship. It carries a pilot and two passengers. Flights will be made every day. A charge of $10 will be made for each passenger.
