Asheboro Street Market Is Sold, Sept. 11, 1921

Ownership of a Local Meat Market Changed. . . H.I. Brooks, A.F. Brooks and H.F. Hudson Purchase Everhart and Brooks Market on Asheboro Street

H.I. Brooks, A.F. Brooks and H.F. Hudson, well known Greensboro business men, announce the purchase of Everhart and Brooks meat market on Asheboro street, known as Asheboro Street Market. The purchase was made last week, and the business is now being conducted by the new management. The business is to be known as Brooks and Hudson.

H.I. Brooks has been with Everhart and Brooks for some months. He is an experienced meat man, having been in the retail business for several years and in the wholesale end for three years. A.F. Brooks, the other Brooks of the firm, is also owner of the Piedmont Hardware company, is connected with the Brooks Lumber company, and has been a resident of Greensboro for 30 or 40 years.

Mr. Hudson was formerly owner of the market, then known as the Hudson market.

With this organization and the experienced cutters in its service, this market is in an excellent position to serve meat customers of the city.
