Funeral services were held at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon for Seth Gibbs Jr., the 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. S.M. Gibbs, who died at the James Walker Memorial hospital Sunday afternoon, from the residence of his parents, 1102 Grace Street. The Rev. W.A. Stanbury of the Grace Methodist church conducted the services, assisted by the Rev. D.H. Wilcox, assistant pastor of the First Baptist church. Interment was made in Oakdale Cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Honorary, Dr. J.B. Sidbury, Dr. C.P. Bolles, W.F. Morson, H.P. Cobb of Savannah; C.T. Marsh, W.A. Smith and J.L. Becton; Active, Jack Hinton, G.F. Garris, E.L. King and Kenneth Marshall.
