Robbers Drive Away From James Cole's Store With 7,000 Cigars, Cases of Shoes, Lard, March 4, 1922

Goldsboro, March 4—Robbers drove up to the store of James Cole, corner of Slocumb and Maple streets, in the extreme southern suburb, between 2 and 3 o’clock Friday morning with an auto truck, broke in the back door, and carried away between $1,200 and $1,600 worth of stock, including 7,000 cigars, cases of shoes, cases of lard and other goods.
