Carson Hill, Deputy Sheriff, Is Made County Speed Cop

Carson Hill of Edneyville, who is the successor to J.W. Bayne as deputy sheriff and county attendance officer, has also been appointed “speed cop.” Mr. Hill took the joy out of fast riding Sunday afternoon for three persons who were exceeding the speed limit on the Asheville road He is soon to be provided with a motorcycle and will make the latter road, together with the Greenville and Chimney Rock roads, his favorite jaunting places.
