Mr. W.T. Keyser, secretary of the chamber of commerce at Kinston, spent yesterday in New Bern on business.
Miss Eva Armstrong left last night for Lake Junaluska where she will spend several months.
Miss Marguerite Shied and Miss Katherine Charlotte of Greensboro, S.C., left last night returning home after visiting relatives here.
Judge Henry G. Connor left last night for his home at Wilson where he will spend the remainder of the week. Next week he will be at Raleigh for federal court.
Miss Ruth Cox has gone to Asheville where she will spend the summer.
Mr. Baxter Armstrong and little Miss Margaret Armstrong left last night for Greenville, S.C., where they will spend several weeks with relatives.
Miss Lottie Saunders of Beaufort left last night for Dover after spending the day here shopping with friends.
Miss Annie Morten of Beaufort returned home last night after spending the day here shopping.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank King of Beaufort returned home last night after spending the day here shopping.
Mrs. O.P. Fitzgerald of Marion returned home last night after spending some time with friends in Craven county.
Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Smith returned home to Beaufort last night after spending the day here with friends.
Miss Mable Taylor returned home last night from Norfolk where she spent several days with friends.
Mr. E.M. Green returned last night from a short professional visit to Raleigh.
Mr. Harry Sultan left last night for a short visit to Wilmington City.
Miss Emma Babbitt of Bayboro passed through New Bern last night en route to Lake Junaluska where she will spend the summer.
Miss Ruth Dixon left last night for Morehead City where she will spend a few days with friends.
