Hendersonville firemen are often delayed in getting to the scene of the blaze and their lives often endangered by autoists who are slow in giving the fire truck the right of way.
When ever you hear or see a fire engine, just remember that it is on its way to save property and possibly human life.
Stop your machine and keep the street clear until the fire truck passes.
Hug the curb, and don’t try to beat the fire truck in a race for a street intersection or a turn into some other avenues.
