The funeral of little Marguerite, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Burton, was conducted at Prospect church yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock by Rev. J.H. Moton. The interment was in the church cemetery.
The funeral services were attended by a large number of friends of the little girl and her parents. The flowers carried by 10 of her little girl playmates were beautiful and completely covered the grave.
Little Marguerite was an attractive little girl, a bright and beautiful child, and will be greatly missed. She would have been five years old on the day of her funeral.
