Police Court Doings in City This Week

Saturday

Dr. W.H. Williams was taxed with the costs for violation of the traffic laws.

Edgar Perry was sentenced to six months on the roads for selling liquor.

Jessie Riddick, a colored woman, was taxed with the costs on a charge of using loud and boisterous language.

Monday

M.R. Fletcher was fined $5 and taxed with the costs for being drunk.

Dodson Malone, a colored crap-shooter, was fined $5 and costs.

Ben Overton was taxed with the costs, for permitting a boy under 16 to drive an automobile.

Tuesday

John White, a colored man, was up on two counts. He was fined $10 and costs for being drunk and disorderly, and $15 and costs for carrying a concealed weapon, namely a razor.

Small Fire Report

Chief Flora announces that there were only two fire alarms turned in during the month of September. One of these was a false alarm, and the other was for an awning blaze caused by a cigarette. The damage is reported at $5.
