Declaring that they had had a most wonderful time, speaking only words of praise, for the Cumberland County Fox Hunters Association, the 150 delegates to the third annual meet of the North Carolina Fox Hunters’ Association, which was held at Tokay this week, began to leave Fayetteville last night and this morning the last were gone.
In the final executive meeting the members re-elected all the officers for the ensuing year as follows: W.A. Bristol of Statesville, President; Judge H.P. Lane of Reidsville, 1st Vice-President; Dr. J.W. McNeill of Fayetteville, 2nd Vice-President; Thomas W. Rankin of Fayetteville, Secretary and Treasurer. The Board of Directors is to be appointed by the President.
The next meeting place was not decided, though Seven Springs, N.C., through W.W. Pierce of Goldsboro sent a most urgent invitation for the State Association to meet there next year. The Cumberland County Fox Hunters’ Association urged that the next year’s meet be held here in Fayetteville. The matter will be decided at the first meeting of the Board of Directors, which will be call in the near future by President Bristol.

In the All-Age Class Field Trials the following were awarded prizes by the judges:
1st, Fancy—Mike and Fly—Hinton James, Laurinburg, N.C.
2nd, Kate—(July dog unregistered) S.H. DePriest, Menry, N.C.
3rd, Queen—Pink and Dot—R.W. Gaddy, Wagram, N.C.
4th, Mistic—Skipper and Hayden’s Ella—Dr. H.B. Ferguson, Halifax, N.C.
The judges of all field trials were Charles W. Hullfish, Charlottesville, Va.; Charles L. Prickett, St. Matthews, S.C.; J.M. Little, Kelton, S.C.; H.B. Martin, Beardstown, S.C.; and J.M. Pugh, Oriental, N.C.
