Overall Factory Loss of $90,000 With Only $8,000 Insured, Dec. 4, 1922

Nasseff Lost Huge Amount. . . Proprietors of Overall Factory Were One of the Heaviest Losers in the Fire

Among the heaviest losers of Friday’s fire was the Nassef Manufacturing Company.

Joseph Nassef stated this morning that the machinery and stock in the overall factory was worth approximately $65,000 and that the worth of the building itself was worth $25,000, making a total loss of $90,000. Insurance amounting to $8,000 was carried.

Mr. Nassef stated this morning that he intended rebuilding his factory at once and also erect a row of brick stores on Pasteur street, greatly improving the appearance of that place. He already has received an offer from another town to locate his factory there, but has refused to consider it.

In addition to the brick factory, Mr. Nassef lost several frame buildings.
