Rev. R.L. Brown Is Critically Ill, March 10, 1923

Aged Rowan Minister Is Critically Ill

The many friends in Rowan county and elsewhere of Rev. R.L. Brown, one of the oldest Lutheran ministers in the North Carolina Synod, will regret to know that he is critically ill at his home near Christiana church, suffering from bronchitis and complications and that much concern is felt by relatives and friends over his condition.

Rev. Mr. Brown suffered a stroke of paralysis many years ago and has been an invalid since, being kept to his home the greater part of the time, and this, together with his advanced years, makes it all the harder for him in his present illness.
