Saturday night, June 9th, Rev. S.W. Rose, pastor of the Roney circuit of the Western North Carolina conference, lost everything he had, $16.50 in money, and about $200 worth of books. The fire destroyed the home where he was rooming; and the accumulations of years of arduous toil went up in smoke. Any one who can afford to make the sacrifice will do well to help this worthy brother. Send any little you can spare to him, Newton, N.C., Rt. 1, Box 95.
If possible take a small after collection for him. He will greatly appreciate any help given him; or you can send it to me, and I will only too gladly transmit to him. Help him.
